Black and White

He’d always told her that she was too black and white. That the world was comprised of so much that was grey… That she was wrong to draw the lines in a world where the lines blurred everyday…

Yet, it was this very quality that allowed her to see him. In the black and whiteness of her mind. In the absolutes that she dealt with.

Her absolute truth – that she loved him. Irony that it was this black and white fact that allowed her to understand all the grey that was him. It was this single-minded blinder vision that allowed her to keep him in sight, while he meandered all over her.

Her high standards, the compulsion to stay true to herself. Funnily enough this allowed her to accept all his anomalies, his quirks, his mistakes… to just let him be…

He was all over the graph. She was a straight line. But she felt herself to be a part of all that was him. Just like a curve is made up of infinite straight lines.

Trapped within the glass walls of time, fate, perception, and all that is not meant to be… A beautiful and strange love story that could never conclude… and one that would never end…

it is familiar sweety. it is the story of everybody i guess. the "he" and "she" is interchangeable. i guess in most love stories - you have one person who is the constant, the anchor, the acceptor - and the other who is free-spirited and flip-flops
