Ramblings of a wanderer - Nada R. Quraishi

Ahoy there,
Just felt a need to chronicle my funny little thoughts and my poetry so here goes...

Lo and Behold
Stories Untold

Forgotten memories
Unwritten Histories

A hope, A dream
A World Unseen

This one is for my husband, who's gentle face is my whole world

In between…

In the in between moments
The empty spaces
The pauses that break up
The steady stream of chatter

I look up… and find you

How could I know fulfillment
Had I not known emptiness
Like the nothingness that defines everything
Like the silence in between heartbeats

You are with me… and not

The beauty of you is
That you allow me to be
The silence and the chatter
In between emptiness and fulfillment

I am yours… and mine

Beautifully written esp the lines

"How could I know fulfillment
Had I not known emptiness"

I guess they aptly sum up ur marital bliss - may you savour much more than this ..(Ameen)

You know what ? I have been checking this blog every week since November for updates - I even worried when months passed by without a single post , in fact I looked you up on linkedin just to tell myself that you are ok..... But I am so glad to know that you've found happiness . May Allah bless you always. Ameen.
