Ramblings of a wanderer - Nada R. Quraishi

Ahoy there,
Just felt a need to chronicle my funny little thoughts and my poetry so here goes...

Lo and Behold
Stories Untold

Forgotten memories
Unwritten Histories

A hope, A dream
A World Unseen

Best Kept Hidden...

Not all that's done can be undone
And some griefs live on
The heart once broken
Cannot be mended by anyone

The passing of time doesn't cease
But the memories linger
Like shards of glass
It's a pain that knows no release

So laugh in the day and cry by night
The world doesnt wish to know
The scars in your soul are
Best kept hidden away from sight

thats so true, nobody wants to hear of your pain for either of the following 2 reasons- a) he/she doesnt really care , b) he/she loves you too much to hear of your pain.
im a coward i know, i like to believe that everyone i love is happy, i feel sad at times too, but it doesnt bother me as much as my loved one's sorrow.
hehe ok i was going to write how beautiful ur poem is but i got started on my fundas. lovely work. and its true, memories dont cease to linger and the pain continues to pierce your soul. they say time is the best healer, i dont know if it gets rid of your pain, but i know that it makes you more and more immune to it. there will be a day when u wont feel the sharpness of the shards of glass.

Api Life moves on, cos the only thing thats constant is change, Life is a peculiar journey, where we all don't want to reach the destination (cos it is death) and the destination luckily is not measured in miles rather it is a fixed duration for which you can travel, So we cannot stand at one crossroad and say hey it was the best or the worst, because on this journey there are stop-overs detours and landmarks big and small good and bad, the smart traveler is the one who enriches his journey by making full use of this amazing journey, he/she learns from his previous mistakes and strives not to repeat them. Luckily this journey is not a straight hypnotist highway (yes there is a phenomenon called highway hypnosis) rather it is a roller coaster so raise your arms up in the air and scream when u go down and wait with bated breath anticipating what is after that high point of grief.
