Ramblings of a wanderer - Nada R. Quraishi

Ahoy there,
Just felt a need to chronicle my funny little thoughts and my poetry so here goes...

Lo and Behold
Stories Untold

Forgotten memories
Unwritten Histories

A hope, A dream
A World Unseen

This poem is for my sister who is on the brink of matrimony, and whose words inspired me to write this poem. Tabs - may you be happy beyond belief and may your man love you just this way always...

A man's love...

A man’s love is a beautiful thing
Part conquer, and part surrender

To know that he’s strong and yet
You can make his knees go weak
He’ll forge ahead and build a life
Only to stop in his tracks for you

A man’s love is a splendid thing
A bit of reality, a bit of wonder

He lets you into his home, his heart
And asks only that you reign in both
His love is by turns patient and kind
Or wild 'n raging as a summer storm

A man’s love is a strange thing
Pleasing pain, aching pleasure

You never knew he had it in him
To give so much, to feel so much
He seizes the moment, then stops
To give you all the time you need

A man’s love is a precious thing
Beyond time, beyond measure

Pleasing pain, aching pleasure

A bit of reality, a bit of wonder

Part conquer, and part surrender

This ones beautiful. I can feel it in your words. Perhaps, such candid words are not seen often. And such men definitely not.
