Ramblings of a wanderer - Nada R. Quraishi

Ahoy there,
Just felt a need to chronicle my funny little thoughts and my poetry so here goes...

Lo and Behold
Stories Untold

Forgotten memories
Unwritten Histories

A hope, A dream
A World Unseen

Why are some days harder than others? In the book of life, perhaps some pages are shuffled, and a day from last month or last year finds its way into the chapter of today.

Why do some nights seem never-ending? It may be that some nights bring back the scent of other nights gone by, so overwhelmingly that suddenly it becomes hard to breathe.

Why do some songs haunt one so? Perhaps the pain of having loved and lost manifests itself in different ways – sometimes in the depths of silence, sometimes in the swell of song.

Why do some tears never seem to stop?
bbbbbbbA heart wrenched with emotion…
bbbbbbbbbbbiCried tears to fill an ocean…

Why is it some times so hard to be strong? But then again, perhaps the real strength lies in allowing oneself the right to be weak, for surely the need to always be strong is yet another form of weakness.

Why do some people have it all and some nothing? Yet therein lies the test, for it is easy to thank God when one is blessed. The lucky ones are those that get to thank Allah in their darkest hour.

Alhamdulillah.
